the length was a let down. 192 pages is light reading. good book. I hope 3.0 is out soon since most of it was posted online already.
I like this universe concept. I enjoyed the first and I look forward to the third.I appreciate the writer’s / MC exploration and explanation of what is sin in this system.Yes MC is overpowered but he is a Sider, a massive changer, compared to non. The Idle system versus normal is a big difference.
I loved the book(s). Some say that John is op but I find it refreshing. It was well written and well edited with few mistakes that were easy to miss. I can't wait to see if a new installment will be coming my way.
I enjoyed how this novel took the grind of the first book and shoved the main character out bursting through the seams of his old life and into the great wide universe. Really really well done, highly recommended.

I like the main character he was interesting he got a little bit to judge mental at times personally I would have been More easy going The stats though is the bad thing they just overwhelm the book I think a summary would be a lot better than listing all the sets constantl. but I still will keep reading the book
Beware of spoilersI'm unsure how you came up with murder only being 25 points when theft is one. Like pick pocketing 25 times is the same as killing someone? What if the thefts are minor things that take someone's fancy? Or what if the theft is vital resources going to a town that'll cause the town to starve over a season? Do those deaths also count due to negligence? How does negligence factor into the system? I don't really mean to critique the system as too simple, but I think that murder is too low a value and there is no consideration for the degree of severity for the other crimes.
Some parts of the book are somewhat forced, especially a history dump or two for our main protagonist. Still there is plenty to be interested in and development to look at that makes me want to keep reading. As time goes on I wonder what this author will develop in terms of new heights for the protaganist to climb.
